I am often asked which is my favourite MotoGP. It's a tough question. But the Sachsenring probably shades it. Our superb family run Sachsenring hotel close to the circuit means we can go back and forward to the circuit to enjoy the MotoGP parties going on late into the evenings, whilst in the mornings we have time to gently recover before the short transfer to the circuit entrance. The Sachsenring circuit is a fantastic venue with amazing changes in elevation providing great viewing opportunities. Come hunger time, you will pleased to learn that no other circuit offers as much choice for great fresh food as the Sachsenring and the strong German beer soon has you dancing to the music blasting out from the party zones. Yes I think I can probably say the Sachsenring is now my favourite MotoGP venue. This year when race day arrived it was wet and got even wetter come the start of the MotoGP, which was won by a faultless display by Casey Stoner on his Ducati. The other big winner was Valentino Rossi who finished in second place but regained the championship lead from Dani Pedrosa after he crashed out whilst holding what looked like a race winning position. Still the bad weather did little to dampen our spirits at yet another memorable party at the Sachsenring. http://www.motoexpress.co.uk
